The 43-year-old, who has picked up four points from his two games in charge, is a big part of the club’s future plans and will be involved in the summer reboot.

What role he will play is yet to be determined, but a place on the coaching staff is most likely at this stage.

Moore has refused to say whether he wants the permanent job or not during his short spell in charge, but has confirmed he wants to stay at the Baggies.

“I’ve got the utmost respect for the club, everyone knows that,” he said, last week. “Whatever direction is to come in the future then I’d very much hope to be a part of that.”

Technical consultant Guiliano Terraneo has spent his first full week at the training ground getting to grips with the club following his appointment last Thursday.

He is yet to make any changes, but has agreed to keeping Moore in some capacity next season.

The former centre-back has managed to unify the squad in his first two weeks in charge, sparking a mini-revival at the end of a dreadful season.

Although there have been calls from some sections of the fanbase to give him the managerial job full-time, it is not a desire he has publicly expressed.

Moore has been a coach at Albion since 2012, when he started out helping James Shan with the under-18s.

Last year he was promoted to first team coach by Alan Pardew, who he replaced as caretaker on Easter Monday.
