Ben Foster urges West Brom to emulate Swansea's resurgence
Ben Foster has urged Albion to take heart from Swansea's recent resurgence.
The Welsh side were bottom of the table over the Christmas period, but a recent run of three wins and two draws under new boss Carlos Carvalhal has lifted them up to 16th.
Albion have an inviting run of six games coming up, including matches against Huddersfield, Watford, Leicester, Bournemouth, Burnley and Swansea.
And Foster wants the Baggies to emulate Carvalhal's men.
“We’ve got some big games between now and the end of the season,” said Foster.
“The results at the bottom of the table have shown that if you can string two or three wins together like Swansea then you can jump a few places.
“They have dug in and they’ve picked up a few wins which is what we need to do.
“We have to take positives from what they have done and try to do it ourselves.
“We’ve got some games coming up that we think we can pick some points up from.
“There are some huge games that are real six-pointers between now and the end of the season.
“We need to roll our sleeves up and get stuck in. I’m sure we will because we have got a good group of lads in the dressing room.”
Albion are currently in Barcelona for warm weather training.
They fly back on Friday ahead of Saturday's FA Cup fifth round clash with Southampton.
