£900k for West Brom to rename The Hawthorns?
Renaming The Hawthorns would net Albion less than £1million a season, according to leading global financial advisers.
The Baggies would only recuperate an estimated £900,000 from selling the naming rights, say valuation company Duff & Phelps.
Only three clubs in the Premier League – Watford, Bournemouth, and Huddersfield Town – would receive less according to their Stadium Naming Rights study.
Albion sold the naming rights of their Walsall training ground to Chinese eco-town company Palm last year for an undisclosed fee.
Duff & Phelps estimate that Manchester United could net £26.2m from their naming rights.
