Nacer Chadli ruled out of West Brom's Boxing Day clash with Everton
Nacer Chadli has been ruled out of Albion's Boxing Day clash with Everton after picking up another thigh injury at Stoke today.
The Belgian, who came off the bench at half-time, only last a quarter of an hour before he limped off again.
Albion's record signing has only featured in three league games this season, and his injury disappointed new boss Alan Pardew because the club had taken extra care to make sure he was fit.
"Chadli was a huge disappointment today," said Pardew. "He's trained for nine or ten days and we felt he was really good to go.
"We'd taken special care and taken longer with him so to lose him after he came on was probably as disappointing as the result.
"It's his thigh muscle, it might be a recurrence. He's out for Boxing Day."
Albion lost 3-1 away at Stoke to leave them second-bottom at Christmas and without a win since August.
