Palm Training Ground: West Brom rename base
West Brom are renaming their training ground after the club agreed a new deal with Palm.
The agreement now sees the facility named the Palm Training ground, named after the China-based Eco-Town development company.
Guochuan Lai is closely linked with the company, and has used Yunyi Guokai, the company he established to complete his takeover of Albion last year.
West Brom chief executive Martin Goodman welcomed the move:
"The agreement has a commercial value to the Club and continues to place our name at the heart of the exciting development plans Lai is leading in China." he said.
New signage will be produced and made visible at the training ground to promote the change in name.
