Early leaving West Brom fans among least wasteful according to report
West Brom fans are missing out on just under £15 worth of value each season by leaving games early.
In a report conducted by Voucherbox.co.uk, they found that Baggies fans were among the fans to lose the most value in terms of goals scored after leaving the ground early.
Research has found that Premier League football fans leave home games on average seven minutes and 37 seconds early - representing an average waste of over £72 on the value of a season ticket in proportion to goals scored.
Albion fans have been found to waste the second least amount of cash, with only Stoke City fans ending up better off compared to other top flight supporters.
Both Stoke and West Brom fans miss out on 4% of home goals, wasting £12.25 and £14.78 respectively.
That pales in comparison to Arsenal supporters, who miss out on 18% of home goals by leaving early, wasting £185 on the cost of their season tickets.
Chelsea and Southampton round off the top three, with Blues fans wasting £150 on a season ticket, whilst Saints supporters miss out on £137.41 worth of goalmouth action.
Last season saw just four goals scored in the final seven minutes of games at The Hawthorns last season, three of those coming for visiting sides.
