Albion are in talks over a shock move for Grzegorz Krychowiak, according to reports.

The Poland international is free to leave the French giants this summer, and Tony Pulis is reportedly keen to bring the defensive midfielder to The Hawthorns on a temporary basis.

The move would prove a coup for Albion, with the 27-year-old only joining PSG a year ago for £28m from Sevilla.

West Brom have already signed Gareth Barry in midfield this summer as a replacement for Darren Fletcher, as well as bringing in Ahmed Hegazi, Oliver Burke and Jay Rodriguez.

Reports suggest that talks with Paris Saint Germain are at an advanced stage, meaning Krychowiak could head to England to finalise the move ahead of Thursday's transfer deadline.

A move for Arsenal left-back Kieran Gibbs is also close for Albion, after they agreed a fee for the defender following Watford's failure to agree terms with the Englishman.
