Reports: West Brom make Mamadou Sakho enquiry
West Brom have reportedly made an enquiry regarding Liverpool centre-back Mamadou Sakho.
The 27-year-old has fallen out of favour at Anfield and spent a portion of last season on-loan at Crystal Palace.
However, Tony Pulis is now reportedly keen on a move for the Frenchman following strong interest from Manchester City in captain Jonny Evans.
Any deal for the centre-back would almost certainly set a new club-record, with the £13m signing of Nacer Chadli the current benchmark at The Hawthorns.
Albion are also in talks with Spurs over their Austrian defender Kevin Wimmer.
When quizzed on the potential deal for Evans, Tony Pulis stated that only an 'enormous amount' of money would tempt him into cashing in on the Northern Ireland international.
It's thought that Pep Guardiola could test Albion's resolve with an improved bid for Evans of around £22m in the coming days.
