The Adidas kit was unveiled by the club yesterday and 71 per cent of fans who voted in an Express & Star poll said they liked the look of the new design.

Featuring the traditional blue and white stripes, the Baggies’ jersey is the first to feature Chinese landscaping company Palm, who were confirmed as Albion’s new principal sponsors yesterday.

Made with Adidas Climacool fabric, noticeable changes include a switch from an all-white to all-navy blue black, a red Adidas logo and a white V-neck collar instead of the button-down crew neck. The shorts and socks are white but feature navy blue stripes to match the shirt, in place of the old light blue stripes.

Costing £50 for an adult home shirt and £40 for a junior, the kit went on sale at the club’s shops at The Hawthorns and Merry Hill this morning.
