WATCH: Tony Pulis delighted with strike duo after Albion's win over Manchester United

West Brom boss Tony Pulis says Albion look far more dangerous going forward with Salomon Rondon and Saido Berahino up front.

Rondon's fourth goal in six Premier League games was enought to beat ten-man Manchester United 1-0 at The Hawthorns today.

It means the Baggies have picked up 10 points out of a possible 12 and sit one point behind the magical 40-point mark Pulis believes is safe from relegation.

"We've looked better as a team going forward now we've got Saido and Salomon together up front," said Pulis.

"We're more of a threat now. At the beginning of the season we were hoping to start with those two.

"I think between them the pair of them would have scored enough goals to have made us a decent team.

"Unfortunately we haven't had Saido during that time.

"Since they've been together the team have looked a lot better going forward."

Not only did Rondon score, but he also ran the channels, outmuscled defenders, and won towering defensive headers in his own box.

The £12m summer signing continues to prove his doubters wrong after a slow start to life in the Premier League.

"The testament to Salomon is that he just never stops," said Pulis. "He's sone such a fantastic job. His goal was a great finish. We're very pleased with him, he's such a good lad."

Juan Mata was sent offf for United in the first half for two bookings in the space of three minutes.

"The sending off played a big part in the game," admitted Pulis.

"I haven't seen it but from where I was but the second booking looked a bit harsh.

"I've been told that he does catch Darren Fletcher so the referee has deemed it to be two yellow cards.

"We were sat in watching Palace vs Liverpool, and Palace were comfortable until Liverpool had a player sent off.

"I was half thinking are we going to do the same!

"Early in the second half they had some good play down the left and they looked like they could step it up but thankfully we seen it out.

"I think we deserved it in the end."
