West Brom watching Andre-Pierre Gignac
West Brom are weighing up a move for France international striker Andre-Pierre Gignac.
Baggies boss Tony Pulis and assistant manager Dave Kemp ran the rule over the 29-year-old, who plays for Marseille, against Monaco on Sunday night.
Gignac didn't manage to add to his 20-goal tally for the season and was taken off after 56 minutes to be replaced by Belgian Michy Batshuayi, 21.
The striker is out of contract and is leaving Marseille this summer and wants a crack at the Premier League.
But with reputed wage demands of around £70,000-a-week, he won't come cheaply.
Pulis tried to sign Gignac, who has scored 58 goals in 153 games for Marseille, previously for Stoke, who have maintained an interest.
Gignac has more lucrative offers in Russia but is said to not be keen on going there.
Pulis also watched the epic League One play-off semi-final which saw Swindon draw 5-5 with Sheffield United last night. Swindon won 7-6 aggregate and will face Preston in the Wembley final.
