Baggies legends Tony 'Bomber' Brown, Cyrille Regis and Ally Robertson were joined by popular ex-striker Joe Mayo at Sandwell Park Golf Club for the latest round of the quiz, which is being run by Brewery giants Greene King.

Brown, Albion's record appearance-maker and record goalscorer, joked: "It was a good night and I think we finished joint sixth, which was good for us because we all thought we'd be useless!

"I think there were about 12 teams, so we were pleased with a mid-table finish."

The opening event, at Fordhouses Cricket Club near Wolverhampton, was attended by former Wolves goalkeeping star Phil Parkes, ex-midfielders Kenny Hibbitt and Steve Daley and former winger Willie Carr.

And an event at Aston Wood Golf Club on last week featured a team of Villa legends including Gary Shaw, Gordan Cowans and Pat Herd.
