'Big Dave' warns Albion stars on Tony Pulis
West Brom old-boy Darren Moore has warned the club's stars to toe the line or face the wrath of head coach Tony Pulis.
The fans' favourite – now working within the Baggies' revamped academy – played under the new boss at Portsmouth and knows he is more than capable of the hairdryer treatment.
The former defender said: "If there is a rollicking to be given the individual or group will be given it.
"Hopefully there won't be too many of those given but he's certainly one who will do it if he needs to. The discipline side is key. There is no quarter given in terms of being late.
"He just doesn't want anybody to let anybody else down and there is a real togetherness in that.
"These are the things he wants people to buy into. It's about everybody doing their bit.
"He takes care of all the grey areas off the pitch so when you get on the pitch there is less to worry about."
And the ex-skipper believes Albion have gone back to basics, likening Pulis to former manager Gary Megson.
Moore said: "They have their own ways of doing things but, in terms of leadership qualities, leading from the front and setting in place that structure and style of play they are similar.
"The two are very clear in what they require. There are definitely similarities."
Moore, who watched on this week as Albion took the wraps off their new £2.5million academy revamp, is delighted to see Pulis at the club.
The former Stoke boss has brought in Dave Kemp and Paul Jewell to be part of his staff and Moore is happy to see some familiar faces.
He added: "I worked with Paul at Bradford and Derby and Dave at Portsmouth. The gaffer is really starting to set in place his own views."
