Liam Ridgewell makes switch to MLS
Former Albion defender Liam Ridgewell has joined Portland Timbers in the Major Soccer League.

The 29-year-old was released by the Baggies at the end of the season.
"Liam is still in his prime and he's been playing game in and out in the Premier League versus many of the top attacking players in the world," said head coach Caleb Porter.
"This pedigree, along with his leadership qualities and technical ability as a left-sided central defender, makes him an ideal choice."
