The Baggies lost a 2-0 lead to draw 2-2 with Villa on Monday, the latest in a string of games where they have been pegged back.
Chelsea, Arsenal and Stoke have all denied the Baggies victory in recent weeks and Reid admitted Albion cannot afford to keep losing winning positions.
"In the Chelsea game we should have got all three points and on Monday," he said.
"Going 2-0 up in the Premier League, with the experience and quality we've got, we should go and win the game. It's two draws that feel like two defeats."
"We just need to show our experience, especially us as a back-four, and digging in and shutting up shop when you do get the 2-0 lead."
