Steve Clarke: West Brom don't fear Liverpool duo

Confident boss Steve Clarke today insisted Albion will not lose sleep over facing the Premier League's hottest strikeforce at Anfield tomorrow.

Clarke's men will take on Liverpool's new 'SAS' pairing of Luis Suarez and Daniel Sturridge as they look to make more Baggies history by adding a third successive Anfield victory to last month's Old Trafford win.

And the Hawthorns head coach insists his defenders will relish the chance to face the in-form duo, who have netted six goals in three Premier League games since Suarez returned from suspension.

"These are the games players want to play in to show how good they are," said Clarke, whose side have kept three clean sheets in eight Premier League games this season and conceded just three goals in open play.

"It is Sturridge and Suarez this week and they deserve all the praise they are getting. But I don't think Gareth McAuley and Jonas Olsson will lose sleep tonight worrying about it.

"They'll be looking forward to the challenge of trying to keep those two quiet and that's the mindset you need to go to these places."
