West Brom ready to let Markus Rosenberg leave
Albion have confirmed they are ready to let Markus Rosenberg leave – and interest from overseas has already been registered.
The 30-year-old Sweden international striker was a free transfer recruit last summer but endured a scoreless campaign of minimal impact
He has two years remaining on his contract but now finds himself yet another man who could be part of a summer of significant changes at the club.
With major doubts over Romelu Lukaku and Peter Odemwingie, Albion are unlikely to do business until they have re-stocked their own supply of strikers.
But sporting and technical director Richard Garlick says: "It's been a frustrating period for him in terms of how it panned out last season.
"There is interest from Spain and Germany in him.
"I am in touch with his agent every week and he knows the situation. We know what we want from the negotiations too."
