Popov is West Brom's Player of the Month
West Brom defender Goran Popov today declared himself fit for the trip to Reading as he was crowned Player of the Month for December.
The Macedonia international, on loan from Dynamo Kiev, has been sidelined since pulling a hamstring in the Boxing Day victory at Queens Park Rangers but insists he is ready to return.
The 28-year-old said: "I trained yesterday with the players after doing a lot of running with the physio last week. I hope that on Saturday I will play."
Popov was celebrating today after being named Zoopla Player of the Month for December.
The award is supported by Zoopla.co.uk, Albion's official club sponsor and one of Britain's best-known online property search and research companies.
Popov won a ballot of Baggies fans to take the award.
