West Bromwich Albion have cut matchday admission prices for next season with 11 of their Premier League games costing £25 for adults.

The Baggies have reduced prices by an average of around five per cent by scrapping two of their match categories in a bid to simplify ticketing.

The shake-up means admission to the 'category B' matches against Everton, Reading, QPR, Southampton, Stoke, West Ham, Norwich, Fulham, Sunderland, Swansea and Wigan will cost £25 compared to just six games at that rate last season.

Adults will pay £39 to see the 'category A' home games against Liverpool, Manchester City, Chelsea, Villa, Tottenham, Arsenal, Newcastle and Manchester United.

Last season the Baggies priced three games at £42, six at £40 and four at £29 but they have opted for just two price categories for the new term.

Chief executive Mark Jenkins said: "The most cost-effective way to watch the team is buying a season ticket, but we've made our match prices as accessible as possible for supporters who are unable to commit to attending every game.

"Not only have we reduced match prices, we've also expanded the younger age brackets to hopefully attract more young fans."
