The Birmingham-born 17-year-old, who has been a regular captain of Baggies youth teams, has penned a two-year deal to keep him at the Hawthorns until June 2013, with a further year's option in the club's favour.
Nabi is also a regular in the England youth set-up and joined the Baggies at the age of eight.
Baggies sporting director Dan Ashworth said: "It highlights the hard work he and his family have put in and is another step on the ladder to him hopefully getting in and around the first team.
"We're really pleased with the progress he has made and hope it will continue over the next few years."
