Walsall has signed forward Levi Amantchi on an 18-month contract from Bromley.
The 24-year-old joins on an 18-month contract, with the option of a further year, for an undisclosed fee.
The 6ft3ins frontman joined The Ravens in December 2023 from Maidstone United where he scored an impressive 13 league goals in just 20 league matches in National League South.
He has netted three times in all competitions so far this season and is now excited for his new challenge with the Saddlers.
“I’m excited to be here and over the moon to get it done,” he said. “I’m a player who likes to run in behind, I’ve got a few tricks and I’m unpredictable.
“I just want to play football and show what I can do on the pitch and I’m delighted to be here.”
Walsall head coach Mat Sadler is pleased with his latest acquisition having monitored his progress.
“I’ve known Levi for a good year or so now from his time at Maidstone and he absolutely ripped up the league there 12 months ago so he was very much on my radar then,” Sadler said.
“Unfortunately for me, he got injured at that time and he managed to get his move to Bromley. I’ve made sure I’ve watched a hell of a lot of him since then. He ripped it up in pre-season for them, scored a lot of goals but he hasn’t had the game time that he would have wanted so when I had the opportunity to sign him, he was someone that I wanted to bring in.
“Levi is a very good athlete, he’s quick, left footed, can drive past players and will be a physical presence for us.
“He’s something different to what we’ve currently got and that’s the type that I wanted to bring in.”
Levi will be eligible for selection for tomorrow's match against Salford City.
