Walsall’s on-loan youngster Ronan Maher is thriving on the positivity of being a part of two high-flying dressing rooms.

The 19-year-old joined Tamworth on an initial one month loan in November and has since helped them to victory over Dagenham and Redbridge in the National League through an assist, and scored the equaliser for the Lambs against Burton Albion in the FA Cup last Sunday.
That has seen them secure a plum FA Cup tie against Tottenham at The Lamb ground next month and the chance to pull off one of the biggest upsets in the competition’s history.
And the teenager is also spending much of his week working at Saddlers’ Essington training ground, developing his skills alongside the club’s promotion-chasing League Two squad.
Maher said: “To be in and around both changing rooms, the morale is high in both.
