Walsall's Mat Sadler key to strengthening bonds with other clubs
Ben Boycott feels Mat Sadler has strengthened Walsall’s relationships with other Midlands clubs.
Walsall have looked locally for talent during Sadler’s reign with Ryan Stirk’s capture from Birmingham City last summer and Mo Faal’s arrival on loan from Albion in January. While transfers between Walsall and nearby clubs have been commonplace throughout their history, Boycott believes the relationships have improved with those above them in the pyramid and also those below.
