A difficult night for Foulkes. Some good bits and tried to get Walsall moving going forward but at times conceded possession cheaply.

A first competitive start since April 2022 for the defender, who did well. First two goals were distance strikes, although questioned could be asked of the back line for the third.

In certain areas he was growing with every game. Looked good in possession although will have been disappointed with the manner of the third goal.
