Tom Bradshaw’s big brother plots Walsall downfall
Tom Bradshaw was Walsall’s leading marksman for two seasons, and tonight, his brother Dan could be leading the line against them for Sheppey United.
Never before had the eighth-tier outfit reached the first round of the competition, and their mere presence on this stage is all the more remarkable considering the club has been reformed twice since 1995.
Dan Bradshaw has been one of the leading lights for the Kent outfit in their recent history although he is fighting to be fit with a complex back injury.
The 32-year-old returned to Holm Park in the summer after scoring a formidable total of 126 goals in 150 games in his previous spell, including 45 in 38 outings in his final campaign in 2019-20.
Tom hit 16 for Milwall in the Championship last term, and joked that even he was unable to keep up with his friendly sibling rivalry.
