Mat Sadler hails Walsall hat-trick hero Freddie Draper after thriller at Newport County
Mat Sadler has hailed Freddie Draper's fantastic impact after the forward scored a hat-trick to rescue a 3-3 draw for Walsall against Newport County at Rodney Parade.
Draper scored three equalisers for the Saddlers to extend his season tally to eight goals, including a dramatic 96th minute leveller.
And Sadler hopes that people will whisper his success quietly as the Lincoln City loanee continues to go from strength to strength.
"Whisper it because he is doing some fantastic things. We've got a great relationship with Lincoln and we hope to see Freddie for as long as we can in a Walsall shirt because he is doing fantastic things," Sadler said.
"He gives everything. He gives his all and we are all enjoying the fruits of having Freddie around. It was great to throw the three of them on (Danny Johnson and Jamille Matt).
