Walsall's system has gone against marquee signing Danny Johnson
Walsall fans have continued to ask questions about Danny Johnson's absence from the team - after he arrived in the summer as the marquee signing.
I think it boils down to the system that Mat Sadler is currently adopting, and Johnson has been somewhat of a victim of that.
He was last season's top scorer and after his departure in January the club had a big slump, and he was very much seen as a saviour when he re-joined in the summer.
He picked up where he left off with a goal after 20 seconds in pre-season, and also scored against Morecambe and Stockport, but he hasn't been able to kick on since then.
And his chances of regaining his place have been reduced due to the fact Walsall are playing with a sole striker.
