Sutton are winless in 10 league games, and Walsall boast the luxury – or possibly even the burden – of being pre-match favourites.

But Sadler insists that his players are under no illusions of the task at hand when they travel to South London.

Sadler said: “You’ll see time and time again throughout the season, teams that are lower down will beat teams that are higher up.

“It will happen repeatedly. The most consistent ones at the end of it will be the ones that will do well at the end of the season.

“We want to be on that side of the coin, but anyone can be any team at this level. We have to be as consistent as we possibly can, and we have to stamp our game plan on the game.
