Loan to Kidderminster Harriers 'made me' says Walsall's Joe Foulkes
Walsall defender Joe Foulkes’ loan at Kidderminster Harriers has been the making of him.
The 20-year-old amassed 60 league appearances for the Harriers, and helped guide them to promotion via the National League North play-offs last term.
Foulkes has gone on to work his way into the first team at Walsall, but insists he will never lose sight of the significant role Kidderminster played in his rise.
“Being at Kidderminster full-time was the best thing for me,” Foulkes reflects. “It’s not too far from Walsall and it’s not too far from where I live.
“Playing for a football club is a very special thing. The fans, the club, the staff and the players make up one big family.
