Owen Evans 6

Produced a string of fine stops early on with Walsall under the pump in the air, but will be disappointed with being caught off his line for the second goal. Couldn't do a great deal about the other two.

Liam Gordon 7

Arguably one of the better performers for Walsall on the night. Solid in possession while always looking to try and play forward, and put in a number of dangerous crosses that tested the Wrexham backline.

Donveron Daniels 6

Decent enough display on the ball and won his aerial battles for the most part but a few lapses in concentration late on led to Wrexham chances.

Chris Hussey 6

A mixed night for the experienced defender. It was his poor header that led to the second goal, but he got his side back into the game finishing off a slick corner move. Taken off midway through the half was Walsall chased the game.
