Taylor Allen happy to learn from Mat Sadler
Walsall wing-back Taylor Allen has revealed how Mat Sadler is constantly finding ways to improve him as a player.
Head coach Sadler operated as a centre-back and a left-back in his playing days, and Allen views the fact that Sadler played in a similar position as a great opportunity to develop areas of his game.
Allen said: “Me and Sads had one-to-one conversations throughout last year about how I can improve.
“Sads played in my kind of position which was a big thing for me, and it meant I could speak to him and see what I need to improve on.”
