Striker should be Walsall priority says Jimmy Walker
Walsall legend Jimmy Walker thinks a centre-forward must be a priority for the Saddlers during the summer.
Danny Johnson scored 15 goals in 30 matches for Walsall in all competitions last season, before returning to Mansfield Town when his loan expired in January.
Only three clubs scored fewer goals than the Saddlers (19) in the final 22 games in League Two last term. And Walker believes Walsall need a focal point up front to provide Sadler with a platform to build from.
