Boost for Walsall as Conor Wilkinson makes long awaited return to training
Walsall have received another boost with the news striker Conor Wilkinson is back in training.
The 27-year-old was expected to be out until around January after having knee surgery following an injury against Rochdale in April. But he took part in a session at the club's Essington training ground this afternoon.
If fit, Wilkinson could link up with on-loan 12-goal forward Danny Johnson - the pair formerly played together at Leyton Orient.
