Walsall sell Elijah Adebayo to Luton Town
Elijah Adebayo becomes the second player to leave Walsall on transfer deadline day as he joins Luton Town for an undisclosed fee.
The striker, who has netted 10 times this season, has impressed for the Saddlers this campaign.
The 23-year-old is yet to play above League Two level but his displays have interested several clubs, including Hearts and Huddersfield.
But Championship side Luton have won the race for Adebayo as Walsall receive a substantial fee for their leading goal scorer.
Born in London, the forward will now be moving much closer to home as he jumps two divisions.
