Bid reportedly made for Walsall striker Elijah Adebayo
Walsall have received a £250,000 offer for Elijah Adebayo from Huddersfield Town, reports suggest.
After Scottish side Hearts tried to sign the striker earlier this month, the 23-year-old has continued to impress clubs across the country.
Now, according to Football Insider, Championship side Huddersfield have made a substantial offer to sign Adebayo before Monday's 11pm transfer deadline.
The Saddlers have previously stood firm in rejecting offers for the striker, who they are keen to keep, despite his contract ending in the summer.
Manager Darrell Clarke has previously revealed that the club have been in talks with Adebayo over a new deal to keep him at the Banks's Stadium.
Meanwhile, it has also been reported that MK Dons have tabled a bid for Walsall defender Zak Jules.
The centre-back, who has been impressive filling in at left-back this season, has attracted interest from several clubs this month.
It is now believed that League One outfit MK Dons have made an offer for him.
