Jack Rose - 7

The goalkeeper did nothing to harm his current stint in the starting XI with a measured approach.

Cameron Norman - 9

An assist for Norman, with a superb cross, and an overall impressive display. Also winning the free-kick that lead to the winning strike.

Dan Scarr - 8

Dominant in the air and rarely troubled by the opponents. Solid again from Scarr who is proving to be a good League Two defender.

James Clarke - 8

Clarke has added some real leadership and guile to the defence since his return from injury, so it’s no surprise to see the results coming with it.

Zak Jules - 8

A slightly off the pace first half was followed by a hugely impressive second. Jules is proving his worth in this team and will be difficult to dislodge from the starting XI when George Nurse returns from injury.

Rory Holden - 9

A deserved goal for Holden who is proving effective on the right wing, despite favouring the number 10 role. Everything goes through him – he is the catalyst to most attacks and has come on leaps and bounds as a player this season.

Alfie Bates - 7

After a superb showing last week Bates looked sluggish in the first half against Bolton. In the second he really stepped up and took control of the play, while also getting stuck in.

Liam Kinsella - 7

Another understated performance from Kinsella who does the dirty work well. This formation allows him to press high and he does it effectively.

Emmanuel Osadebe - 7

Osadebe has had plenty of chances of late and after a steady first half he was pragmatic in the second. A talented player no doubt, with room to improve.

Wes McDonald - 9

The last two performances show McDonald back at his best. He did OK in the first half but was electric in the second with ferocious attacking play. He smelt blood and went for the jugular and was unfortunate not to get a goal himself.

Elijah Adebayo - 8

Adebayo took his goal very well, meeting Norman’s brilliant cross, and overall was a handful for the defenders. A whole-hearted player who gives his all and has taken responsibility up front while others have been injured or off form.
