Walsall to face Bristol Rovers in FA Cup first round
Walsall will face Darrell Clarke's former side Bristol Rovers in the first round of the FA Cup.
The Saddlers were drawn at home in the opening round of the famous competition, with the fixture due to take place on the weekend of November 7.
Walsall exited the competition in the second round last season, losing 1-0 to Oxford United at home after getting by Darlington following a replay in the first round.
This year there will be no FA Cup replays, due to the truncated schedule.
Rovers currently sit 11th in League One, they made it through to the third round last season.
Clarke spent four years as Rovers manager before moving on to Walsall in 2019.
