The 24-year-old joined on the free transfer last month and has impressed in his handful of appearances so far.

Despite football clubs finding themselves in a perilous position due to the coronavirus pandemic, Osadebe is optimistic that the club can achieve promotion this year.

When asked what attracted him to the club, he said: “I think the club being as big as it is and knowing the league it should be in – League One or higher.

“I know the ambitions of the gaffer and a couple of the players here and I 100 per cent want to be a part of that and do something good.”

When asked of his ambitions this season, Osadebe did not hold back and added: “Personally, I think it would be to get as many games as I can and to get promotion. Get games, goals and help the team out as much as I can but collectively, I think we know what the aim is and that’s promotion.”
