Voting open for Walsall season awards
Voting is now open for the Walsall Supporters' Trust's player and young player of the season awards.
The group brought their annual awards forward after the campaign was suspended indefinitely due to the coronavirus pandemic, meaning supporters will cast their votes on performances from the season so far, with 10 games remaining.
This year the poll will be conducted online, opening at 10am today and open until 10pm on Friday, April 24. The winners will be announced on Friday, May 1.
The young player of the season award is for those aged 21 or under at the start of the campaign – meaning the whole development squad qualify, alongside several first-team players such as Alfie Bates and Elijah Adebayo.
Co-operative Travel have donated a £200 voucher for the winner and a £100 voucher for the young player winner. The Robert Sadler Shield, named after a trust member, is also awarded to the senior player winner.
