Fans given glimpse of Walsall preparations in open training session - with PICTURES
Autographs were signed, selfies were taken and fans got a glimpse of Darrell Clarke's new-look side as Walsall held an opening training session.
Around 400 fans flocked to the Banks's Stadium earlier today to get a glimpse of the Saddlers ahead of their season opener at Northampton on Saturday.
It wasn't just the players and manager Clarke who were in demand though, with supporters also eager to have a picture and meet new owner Leigh Pomlett.
On the field, those in stands got to see the squad take part in a number of training drills. They also played an 11-aside game on a smaller than usual pitch.
Jack Clarke, 13, from Essington, attended the event with his grandad Jeff.
"I always come to open training because it's a chance to meet the players and the manager," he said.
"But it was good this time to meet the new owner. He seems a nice fella.
"I was pleased to see he had an expensive suit so hopefully he has got lots of money he's going to invest in the team.
"I'm hoping we can push for play-offs this year but I know it won't be easy."
Eight-year-old Jack Bevan, from Hednesford, attended with his grandad Paul Swain.
"I came last year to get my old shirt signed and I've done the same this year," Jack said.
"I was excited to meet Josh Gordon. I think he is going to have a good season and get the goals we need."
Paul added: "I've brought my grandson down so he can spend all my money in the club shop!
"But with all the changes we have had, it's nice to be able to come down and see the new players and the manager in action."
