The 22-year-old supported a range of Walsall FC Community Programme projects and is also the club’s 2018/19 player ambassador for sports participation.
Kinsella said: “I’m really proud to be nominated for the award, and always happy to help out in the community.
“I’m very passionate about keeping children active and giving them opportunities to take part in sport so being the sports participation ambassador has been fantastic for me.”
The EFL Awards recognise outstanding community engagement from players across the league’s 72 clubs during the calendar year. The winners will be announced at a ceremony in April.
