Ex-Walsall keeper Neil Etheridge signs new Cardiff deal
Former Walsall keeper Neil Etheridge has signed a new three-year deal with Cardiff following their promotion to the Premier League.
The Philippines international started 45 Championship games for the Bluebirds last season, keeping 19 clean sheets.
The 28-year-old joined Cardiff from the Saddlers in 2017 after two successful years at the Banks’s Stadium.
"We had a fantastic year last year and it's been great to continue that and extend my deal," Etheridge said.
The shot-stopper will compete with recent Cardiff signing Alex Smithies for a starting place in the Premier League next season.
