The 20-year-old was snapped up on temporary basis from Brentford last month and has come off the bench in the Saddlers last two games.

Born in Denmark, Shaibu joined the Bees after impressing for HB Køge.

But the pacy forward admitted the game in this country is more physical than in his homeland. And he says he is now determined to prove he can cope with the rigours of English football.

“It’s more physical here but I’ve improved on the physical side,” Shaibu said.

“I am a lot stronger now than when I first came from Denmark.

“It was key for me to come out on loan. Hopefully I’m going to play as much as possible, that’s what I’m working hard to do. I want to play and to get as many goals as I can to help Walsall stay up.”
