Jon Whitney challenges Walsall players
Walsall boss Jon Whitney has challenged his side to channel their hurt into going on another winning run.
The Banks’s boys had won their previous three league games prior to the reverse at Northampton at the weekend.
And Whitney challenged his players to use the pain of defeat in their next fixture at Rochdale on Saturday.
The boss said: “We want to start another run. The Rochdale game is going to very similar to the Northampton.
"They will be high energy and they will put us under pressure.
"We have to remember the feeling we have got...that it hurts.
"Then when something similar happens next week, we can make sure we are better. That is all we can do.”
