Walsall star Erhun Oztumer nominated for monthly award
Walsall’s wizard Erhun Oztumer is among the League One Player of the Month nominations for October.
The Saddlers star netted three goals throughout the month including a stunning free-kick against Blackpool.
He has been nominated alongside Charlton goalkeeper Ben Amos, Plymouth playmaker Graham Carey and Blackburn’s attacking midfielder Bradley Dack.
A statement from award sponsors Sky Bet said; “Another month of highlights from the Turkish Messi whose superb free-kick against Blackpool was matched by the close control and calmness of his two finishes at Doncaster.”
The winner of the award will be announced on Friday.
