Walsall stars receive their awards
Jason McCarthy scooped the prestigious Fans' Player of the Season prize as Walsall presented their end of year awards.
The ceremony, which took place on the Banks's turf following the Saddlers end of season defeat to MK Dons, saw a host of other players also pick up honours.
Erhun Oztumer was named Players' Player of the Season with the midfield playmaker also winning the goal of the season award for his strike at Bolton on February 11.
Striker Amadou Bakayoko was named Young Player of the Season having netted 10 goals last season.
Callum Cockerill-Mollett, who recently made his debut for Republic of Ireland under-18s, claimed the apprentice of the season award.
Skipper Adam Chambers was named Community Player of the Season. All the awards were presented by Saddlers development coach John Ward.
