Walsall shake off their injury worries
Boss Jon Whitney is expecting to have a fully fit squad to choose from when Walsall return to action against Northampton this weekend.
The Saddlers travel to Sixfields Stadium on Saturday having enjoyed a fortnight's break from League One action – with their clash at Bristol Rovers postponed due to international call-ups.
They will face a Cobblers side who have adapted well to life in League One since winning promotion with Rob Page's side securing a comfortable victory over MK Dons yesterday. Walsall have undergone a mini injury crisis over the past few weeks with Adam Chambers, Isaiah Osbourne, James O'Connor, Franck Moussa and Florent Cuvelier all spending time in the treatment room.
But Whitney expects all his players to be fit for the weekend – with long term absentee Reece Flanagan the only man ruled out. "I've had plenty of time to prepare the team," Whitney said. "We have now got a really good depth to the squad. The international players have come back into the fold. Franck Moussa is coming back into it. Flo Cuvelier and Adam Chambers have been doing some work with me and are fine. Ozzy (Osbourne) should be okay
