Joseph Masi's 90-second Walsall update - Apr 25

Walsall reporter Joseph Masi discusses the latest coming out of the Saddlers' camp ahead of tomorrow's League One visit of Shrewsbury Town.

Saturday's 4-0 defeat to Bradford City got the Walsall players a dressing down from interim boss Jon Whitney and saw them slip to fourth place.

Whitney's side do have this game in hand, though, and are only behind Millwall on goal difference. Second-placed Burton are six points ahead.

Shrewsbury will be hoping for a repeat of Saturday's 3-2 smash and grab win at Gillingham, who dropped out of the play-off places as a result.

Micky Mellon's visitors are almost safe from danger themselves and will be keen to upset their hosts and climb as high up the table as possible.
