Blackpool on the rise warns boss Sean O'Driscoll
Sean O'Driscoll has warned his Walsall players they will face a rejuvenated side when Blackpool visit the Banks's tomorrow.
The Tangerines have endured a disastrous 18 months but have hauled themselves out of the League One relegation zone in recent weeks.
Kevin McDonald's side also handed a 5-0 thrashing to Scunthorpe last time out, while they have boosted their ranks by signing Watford striker Uche Ikpeazu.
Nevertheless, the Saddlers will start tomorrow's game as big favourites, with O'Driscoll expecting a "high energy" encounter which he feels may suit his side.
"Any team like Blackpool that is in transition has to find a formula," the head coach said.
"They have brought a few players in and mixed a few things around.
"Results would suggest that have finally got something that is settled – a way of doing things that suits them.
"We've had them watched and they were excellent last weekend against Scunthorpe.
"They played with a really high tempo and never gave the away team a chance to get into the game.
" I think we can expect a high energy game.
"But that might suit us if we can prepare properly for it."
Walsall enter the game full of confidence having secured a 3-2 victory at Bury last Saturday.
