Tom Bradshaw handed first senior Wales call-up
Walsall striker Tom Bradshaw has been handed his first senior call-up for Wales.
The 23-year-old, the Saddlers top scorer this season with nine goals, has been included in Chris Coleman's 23-man squad for a friendly with the Netherlands later this month.
Bradshaw has featured for Wales at both under-19 and under-21 level and previously been on standby for the senior squad.
The former Shrewsbury forward scored 20 goals in his first season at the Banks's last season despite missing 20 games through injury.
This term he has picked up where he left off and been a key part in the Saddlers ascent to the top of League One.
Wales host the Dutch at Cardiff City Stadium next Friday, November 13.
Coleman said:"Tom has done very well at Walsall, already notching up nine goals this season.
"On the back of us losing some of our strikers, he has got the nod.
"I'm pleased and delighted for him. He is there on merit."
As a result of Bradshaw's call-up, Walsall's game at Shrewsbury Town, scheduled for November 14, has been postponed.
The Saddlers will have three players away on international duty in the shape of Bradshaw, Romaine Sawyers and Neil Etheridge, the latter pair being called up by St Kitts and Nevis and the Philippines respectively.
